Empire State College recognizes that you may have gained college-level learning on your own, through work, community experience or individual study. Therefore, you may pursue a prior learning assessment (PLA) for college-level learning not evaluated through other means.

To request for prior learning assessment, you need to work with your faculty mentor to fill out one of the forms below, submit the form through PLA planner and begin the assessment.
